Sourcing – Home Textiles
Home Textiles products company is seeking an individual to lead sourcing activities with primary focus on bringing new products to market and meeting required deadlines. Position will be located in Nanjing or Hangzhou area.

Responsibilities:
• Solicit quotations, negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, perform cost analysis, make supplier recommendations based on cost, quality and delivery competitiveness
• Develop new suppliers; analyze supplier capabilities, capacity and quality; research market (emphasis on fabrics), attend trade shows; visit supplier factories; and coordinate factory social compliance audits
• Manage product from creation to shipment; coordinate new product design and samples with US Sourcing and Marketing
• Review material specifications with suppliers; identify issues and request specification changes

Requirements:
• Must have excellent verbal and written English and verbal Chinese skills
• Strong product, merchandising, sourcing and business knowledge with experience in supporting US market is preferred
• Knowledge of product cost structure for textile industry – fabric, polyester fiber, and packaging components
• Self motivated, energetic, able to work independently
• Travel in China
• Excellent communication skills
• Relentless effort and focus to prioritize and execute agreed to strategies in bringing products to market
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues with factory on timely basis
• Minimum 2 years experience in textile industry is required
• University Degree in Textiles or Business is preferred

This internship is for duration 4 month.

– Deal with eventual client complains and make sure the appropriate corrective action will be implemented to avoid twice the same complain

– Manage Customer Service Coordinator (set up clear target per Key Client and assess performance) Respect and comply with company’s Rules & Policies -Reach the targets set up by the Sales Manager

– Business development: mainly through cold calling and webmarketing = identify, call & prospect potential clients and turn them into customers
– Input data in database according to manager requirement.
– Any other tasks assigned by manager regarding business purpose

Requirements:

– Highly motivated candidate with strong personality and winning attitude who don’t give up after failure.
– Business English is a must, Native English is preferred + a second language is a plus
– Good sales and learning potential
– College degree or above with Sales & Marketing background
– Willing to work under pressure.
– Target and result oriented
– Experience in B to B sales
